Who is KP?

Hi I am Kelli Payne. I’m a mother of three boys – two of whom have special needs. For over a decade I’ve built a career in real estate so I could have the flexibility and stability to be present for my family.

While walking through the special needs community I became aware of a gap that I couldn’t ignore.

There are families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives sitting beside their child in a hospital room not knowing what comes next. They don’t leave their child’s side and they shouldn’t have to. But while they’re there everything outside those hospital walls keeps moving. Bills don’t stop. Responsibilities don’t pause and in many cases, income does. Because once a child is admitted to the hospital in Colorado, systems change and the support families rely on suddenly disappears.

No parent should have to sit next to their sick child and worry about how they’re going to eat.

That’s why I created KP’s Purpose.

My mission is simple and deeply personal: to make sure no parent goes hungry while they’re sitting in the hospital with their child. To step in during one of the hardest times in their life and provide real immediate support.

Because when your child is in the hospital your only focus should be them not how you’re going to get through the day.
